COVINGTON, Ga. - The first day of the fall semester kicked off at Georgia State University’s Newton Campus Monday. New students got their parking passes and IDs, learned where their classes were and met their professors, who went over their syllabus materials. But students in Professor Amy Rollins’ Anatomy and Physiology II class started their course work immediately, examining cells under microscopes. The students, all sophomores, are on the pre-nursing and health profession pathways at Perimeter College.
