Grand Jury to hear McNabb case at later date

COVINGTON, Ga. - The Covington News has learned that the Newton County Grand Jury did not hear the case of Christopher McNabb at its Friday session.

Newton County seeks justice in infant's death

Alcovy Circuit District Attorney Layla Zon told the paper Wednesday her office is still investigating every aspect of the case.

Zon said she hopes to present the case to the Grand Jury in December.

McNabb is charged with multiple counts in the October disappearance and murder of his 15-day-old daughter Caliyah.

He is currently being held in the Newton County Jail without bond.
