On Thursday, Sheriff Ezell Brown and the Newton County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) held a Remembrance Gathering to honor the lives lost during the 9/11 terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The gathering featured remarks from Brown, Interim Chair Linda Hays and NCSO Workforce Development Program Coordinator Tongela Smith, among others.
