OXFORD, Ga. – As the qualifying period for the city of Oxford came to a close Friday afternoon, it became apparent that there will be no need for an election this fall.

Three seats were up for election this year: Post 4, Post 5 and Post 6. Only the sitting incumbent has qualified for each seat.

With that, Michael Ready will retain Post 4, James “Jim” Windham will keep Post 5 and Jeff Wearing will hold on to Post 6.
