COVINGTON, Ga. - Piedmont Newton Hospital received a generous donation from the City of Covington Fire Department through a $1,232 check to the Piedmont Newton Women's Diagnostic Center to go towards the center's Hope Boutique, which provides resources and services to cancer survivors in the community.

With the assistance of the American Cancer Society, the Hope Boutique opened its doors in 2006 and impacts both local and distant cancer survivors. The boutique includes resources such as wigs, prostheses, turbans, drain bags, protective pillows and lap blankets.
