JONESBORO, Ga. -- The Peachtree Academy boys and girls tennis teams won the Georgia Independent Christian Athletic Association's state championships on Tuesday April 25 at the Clayton Tennis Center in Jonesboro.
The boys defeated Faith Christian from Waynesboro, GA and were led by victories from the singles lines, consisting of Kane Mills who won 6-2, 6-0, Lawson Van Ness who won 6-0, 6-0 and Ben Walters who won 7-6, 6-2.
The Lady Panthers were led by Samantha Van Ness, winning 6-2, 6-4 and the doubles teams consisting of line one players Karley Johnson and Lydia Clack who won 6-0, 6-0, and line two players Maddie Davidson and McKenzie Johnson who won 6-4, 6-2.
