Beginning May 26 - 29, Newton girls basketball will host a camp at Newton from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for grades fourth through 12. The fee for the camp is $60 and includes a a snack/meal.

The camp will be instructed by the Lady Rams coaching staff (Head Coach Tiffani Johnson, assistant coaches: Takeita Bell, Chris Ray and Lavon White) as well as current and former Lady Ram varsity players.

Intended to be instructional, the camp will focus on shooting, passing, defense and ball handling in a competitive and supportive atmosphere.

Coaches will teach and refine fundamental basketball skills while motivating players to incorporate the intangibles of hustle, teamwork, positive attitude, and competitiveness into their game. Participants will be divided by age and ability in order to allow them to compete at their highest potential and have matching competition and instruction. Campers will enjoy the experience of the Newton Lady Rams camp.
