A Conyers man and woman were arrested after police found them with methamphetamines and ingredients of methamphetamines in a motel room Thursday.
Scotty Jay Thedy, 32, and Heather Nicole Agee, 26, were arrested and booked into the Rockdale County jail with multiple charges including possession of methamphetamines, marijuana and drug-related objects and sale/distribution/posession of dangerous drugs.
Conyers police were called to the America's Best Value Inn after employees found that the occupants refused to leave the room.
After the occupants refused to open the door, the manager attempted to open the room with the master key but was unable to open the door due to the inside lock. The manager reportedly could see Agee and Thedy lying on the bed unresponsive.
When police arrived, after repeated knocking and identifying as law enforcement, Agee reportedly slowly opened the door.
"Agee stood in the doorway with a blank stare on her face," wrote the reporting officer. "While speaking to Agee, I observed severe brusing on both of her arms consistent with that of a drug user who injects narcotics."
Thedy reportedly had his arms concealed under a blanket and refused to take them out until the officer drew his Taser and removed the blanket.
Two syringes with yellow-brown liquid were seen on the nightstand. A search of the room uncovered numerous drug related objects such as scales, spoons, baggies, glass pipes as well as methamphetamines and ingredients for methamphetamines. Officers also found prescription pills and a partially smoked marijuana cigarette.
Thedy refused to talk without a lawyer but Agee agreed to talk with officers. Both were booked into the Rockdale County jail and Agee was released Monday.
