Richard Marcinko looks like he could be a normal guy. Yes, the long black ponytail and full beard hint at something more, but he's not particularly tall and a 70-year-old man is hard-pressed to keep up the physique of a peak athlete. He speaks fast, but his voice lacks any gruffness, and he mixes in sarcasm, hand gestures, sound effects and, an only slightly-restrained, bluntness with the best of storytellers.
