Rockdale County Court Briefs - June 13

The following individuals were sentenced by Superior Court Judge David Irwin for the month of May.

• Robert Alan Anderson pleaded guilty to first degree cruelty to children and was ordered to serve the first 14 years of a 20 year sentence.
• Nichole Heimbruch pleaded guilty to first degree cruelty to children and was ordered to serve the first seven years of a 20 year sentence and pay a $1,000 fine.
• Cesar Fernandez Acosta pleaded guilty to the being a party to the crime of manufacturing marijuana for his involvement in the operation of a grow house. Acosta was ordered to serve the first five years of a seven year sentence. Acosta was also ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and allowed to plea as a first offender.
• Norman Lee Barnes pleaded guilty to a residential burglary and was ordered to serve the first seven years of a 15 year sentence.
• James White pleaded guilty to the burglary of a residential storage shed and criminal trespass and was ordered to serve the first three years of a 20 year sentence. White was also ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and $3,000 in restitution. Because of his criminal history White was sentenced as a recidivist and as such will be required to serve the three year prison time without the opportunity for parole.
• Alan James Sutay pleaded guilty to entering auto and was sentenced to three years probation with the initial period being under intensive supervision and ordered to stay away from the incident location. Sutay was allowed to plea as a first offender.
• Jakeia Racquer Alexander pleaded guilty to first degree forgery and was sentenced to three years probation, a $750 fine and 40 hours of community service. Alexander was allowed to plea as a first offender.
• Carmelitha Renee Foster pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting and was sentenced to five years probation, a $500 fine and ordered to perform 180 hours of community service. Foster was allowed to plea as a first offender.
• Sherlanda Dyanne Whitlock pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting and was sentenced to three years probation, a $500 fine and ordered to perform 180 hours of community service. Whitlock was allowed to plea as a first offender.
• April Michelle Turner pleaded guilty to theft by shoplifting and was sentenced to three years probation, a $500 fine and ordered to perform 80 hours of community service. Turner was allowed to plea as a first offender.
• Ronald David Johnson pleaded guilty to financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud and was sentenced to serve six years on probation, pay a $1,000 fine and $6,348 in restitution.
• Richard Ronald Warbington pleaded guilty to violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and possession of drug-related objects and was ordered to serve five years but had the sentence suspended upon being banished from Rockdale County for the duration of the sentence.
