The Rockdale Task Force Against Family Violence is holding their first ever Race Against Violence on Oct. 23.

The 5k run will start at 8 a.m. and the 1 mile fun run will start at 8:30 a.m. The race course starts at Conyers First United Methodist on Main Street and loops through Olde Town Conyers. Proceeds will go to Project ReNeWal domestic violence shelter and the task force.

Registration is $15 before the run and $20 on race day. Applications to register for the race are available at www.rockdaleaware.com. Results will be posted on www.georgiarunner.com. For more information, call 770-278-7721 or email tammy.myers@rockdalecounty.org
