We believe that Rockdale County is on the verge of major economic growth. In a confidential report submitted to the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Board presented possible projects on the horizon that could impact our community with the addition of a possibly 2,100 new jobs and $170 million in investments and build-outs. There are many reasons for this — our proximity to a major airport, our water supply, our excellent school system and, most of the time, good government.
