St. Patrick’s Day is an enchanted time - a day to begin transforming winter’s dreams into summer’s magic.

Conyers is a unique little city that has a big pot of pride and heart bursting with care.
Some of the activities that makes Conyers so unique are the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade - open for anyone and everyone to join, especially spectators - and the 0.1 mile race, called the Worlds Shortest Endurance Race for good reason - because it is.
This year the parade and the race will be broadcast live at rockdalenews.com. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m.; the race at the race at 5 p.m. for ages 12 and under and 5:02 p.m. for all others.
It’s not too late to register for this championship event. Contact Tim Baker at 678-614-7374.
This year two Irishmen who trace their roots back to the first Leprechauns who arrived on the Mayflower to settle this great country, Marty Jones and T.Pat Cavanaugh will be your broadcast hosts for the grand adventure.
See you Monday, wear your green and bring your smiling Irish eyes.
