Jacob Guy Halbrooks, age 23 of Conyers, died Sunday, September 25, 2011.  He is survived by his finance, Kayla Rose Pruett and daughter, Jayleigh Addison Pruett both of Conyers; mother, Joy Atkins Peppers, Conyers; father, Guy Halbrooks, Cartersville; sisters, Tiffany Halbrooks, Conyers, Amy & Ryan Smith, Conyers; nieces, Kendall and Keegan Smith; sister, Ariel Halbrooks, Cartersville; brother, Tucker Halbrooks, Cartersville; grandmothers, Mary Ellen Atkins, Conyers and Faye Halbrooks, Dallas.  He was employed at Shumate Mechanical.  Jacob was known for his love for his friends and family as well as loving to hunt, golf and the Georgia Bulldogs.  The family requests that anyone attending the funeral wear UGA apparel or black and red.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks and Rev. Howard Greer officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Contributions may be made to the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation, P.O.
