Mr. Jack Phillip Aaron, Sr., age 99 of Mexico Beach, FL, formerly of Forest Park, GA, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Aaron. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cecilia and Tom Herren, Perry; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Karen Aaron, Newnan; brother, Richard Aaron, St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Lee, Keith, Patricia, Wade, Lisa, and Phil; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Aaron retired from Delta Airlines after 35 years of service and was a member of the Delta Pioneers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12 noon at Scot Ward Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Joe Hughes officiating; interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service.
