Heritage hosts Aubrae Gunderson Invitational

Heritage High School hosted the 6th Annual Aubrae Gunderson Invitational at the Georgia International Horsepark on Saturday.

The meet brought in 59 teams and 1,800 runners from across the state, competing in nine divisions.

Heritage and Salem raced in the Boys and Girls Red Division, with the Patriots' boys team coming in 11th, the Seminoles' boys coming in 13th out of 16 teams. 

Salem's Dontavious Wright took third out of 147 runners with a time of 17:36.92.

In the girl's Red Rae, Salem finished fifth and Heritage sixth out of 13 teams.

Salem's Jamara Dye was the top local female finisher in eighth place with a time of 22:16.23.
