The Do-Something Congress

As members of the 114th Congress were sworn into office on Tuesday, their party affiliations described what happened last November: 246 of the 435 representatives and 54 of the 100 senators are Republican. The last time the House had so many Republicans was in 1947, when the 80th Congress was sworn in.
