Mr. Willie Fred Hudson died April 11 at Newton Medical Center. The son of Mary Hudson and the late Mr. Eddie Hudson Jr., he was born in 1950 in Rockdale County. Mr. Hudson was raised and educated in Newton County and attended Newton County High School. He retired from the city of Covington after 30 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed listening to old school music. When he was not working, you would find him at home watching westerns and wrestling. He always had a Bible with him. Mr. Hudson will be remembered as a loving and caring person whose memories will always be cherished. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Eddie Hudson Jr.

Surviving are mother Mary Hudson; siblings Mr. Curtis Hudson, Mrs. Kathy (Marcus Parks, Mr. Roy Jr. Hudson; a host of nieces and nephews; a few great-nieces and great-nephews; very special devoted friend Ms. Sabrina Durden.

Funeral services were held April 20 a Young memorial chapel with the Rev. Nathan Durham of Newbeginning Bible Church, Monroe, officiating.
