Viola Luke, 70, of Covington died November 14, 2010, at Newton Medical Center. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, cooking, working in the garden, and traveling. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a friend to many. Mrs. Luke was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lavada Walker.

Mrs. Luke is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Lamar Holcombe of Covington; grandchildren, Anna and Daniel Williams, Jessica and Mark Allen, Joshua and Amber Holcombe; great-grandchildren, Natasha Williams, Aaron Williams, Matthew Williams, and Makayla Williams, Johnathan and Marie Allen, Kahlynn Holcombe; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; sister-in-law, Ruth Perry; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the Access Road Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, with Rev. Garland Stone officiating. Interment will follow Thursday, November 18, 2010, 12:00 PM at Turner Church Cemetery, Enigma, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, November 16, from 5 - 9 PM.
