Ophelia Page, of Oxford, passed away July 12, 2018, at the age of 82. Mrs. Page faithfully attended Living Waters Baptist Church. She enjoyed both reading and listening to the Bible on tape. Whether taking her grandchildren on trips or providing delicious, home-cooked meals, Mrs. Page loved spending time with family. Some of her favorite hobbies included making crafts, crocheting and painting. Mrs. Page also liked to collect old men and women figurines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Page, Jr.; son, Roy Page, III; parents, Thomas Benjamin and Dessie Mae Carter; and mother-in-law, Annie Mae Page.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Jerry Tweedell; Gloria and James Martin; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Corneila Murphy, Vera Mainor; brother, Leroy Carter; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Page will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Preacher Lamar Ford and Preacher Blake Rowe officiating and interment following in East Shadowlawn Cemetery, 87 Scenic Highway, in Lawrenceville. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, Monday, July 16, from 6 to 9 p.m.
