Mrs. Jack “Lee” Walden, 85 of Covington passed away February 12, 2016. Mrs. Walden loved to sing and play the organ. Additionally, she enjoyed reading, her flowers, gardening and her pets. A talented seamstress, she often made her own clothing. Mrs. Walden was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was a reserved person with a very sharp wit. Mrs. Walden was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a wonderful homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Jack” Walden; parents, Warren and Pearl Harden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Luther Pitts Duncan, W.H. and Mildred Walden, Roy Walden, Gene Walden, Silas and Mary Lou Dimsdale.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Ramona and David McCullough, Pat Dimsdale, Jerry and Barry Prickett, Andria and Dennis Fordham all of Covington; grandchildren and their spouses, Slade and Sandy McCullough, Harlan and Heather McCullough, Keith and Loquita Buckhault, Chuck and Leslie Prickett, Clay Prickett, Jake and Katie Davis; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Lola Duncan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linda Walden, Betty Walden, Troy and Pat Walden, Ed Walden, Larry and Sandra Walden, Patricia and Walter Hegwood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Walden will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016, 2:30 p.m., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road in Covington, with Rev. Jeff Hegwood officiating. Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation at Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, Sunday, February 14, from 1–2:15 p.m.
