Brenda Kay Turner, age 67, of Covington passed away October 3, 2012 at Emory University Hospital. She was born December 19, 1944 in Porterdale, Georgia to the late James and Mary Kelly Davis. Mrs. Turner enjoyed flowers and shopping, she was a longtime employee of Phil's Pawn Bank in Conyers working there for 25 years. She loved her family dearly; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Turner also loved her 5 Chihuahua's. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy Davis.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Charles Turner of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Shanda Turner of Conyers; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya and Mike Vincent of Hoschton and Shawn and Mitch Navarre of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Eileen Davis of Mansfield; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2 pm at the chapel of J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Thompson officiating and interment following in Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at J. C. Harwell & Son on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6-8 pm. J.C.
