Brewer

Mrs. Annie Mae Brewer, 91 of Conyers was called home to Heaven on December 27 2010. Mrs. Brewer was born May 15, 1919 in Commerce, Georgia to the late Jesse Oscar and Lois Carver Pitts. She was preceded in death by her husband James Hoyt Brewer; daughters Mary Ann Brewer Treadwell, Shirley Brewer, Sallie Brewer, Alice Brewer and Margie Brewer. She is survived by her daughters Mr. & Mrs. Edsel (Vida) Tyndall, Mr. & Mrs. Carl (Julie Lane) Bain, Mr. & Mrs. Bill (Barbara) VanderVoet, Carol June Brewer, Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy (Eva) Anderson, sons James Olin Brewer, Joe Hoyt Brewer, Howard Nelson Pitts, and Michael Anderson; 19 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and several Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great Grandchildren. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and her legacy will live on through her children. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith and strong spirit. Her greatest pleasure was her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she loved them all equally. Mrs. Brewers family would like to thank the staff of Vitas Hospice for their care and dedication to their mother. Funeral services will be held today December 29 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home with her grandson Steve Tyndall officiating.
