Thomas W. Turner, of Oxford, passed away May 11, 2014, at the age of 76. Mr. Turner loved fishing and time he spent on his beloved Oneida Lake. He retired after 38 years of service with Welch Allyn and will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Russell and Madeline (Grewe) Turner.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Turner of Oxford; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Jonathan Eady of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debra Turner of Marcellus, New York; grandchildren, Stephanie Rothschild, Logan Turner, Michelle Eady, Jessica Eady, Kathryn Eady, Rachel Eady; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2014, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 11524 Highway 278 E, in Covington, with Rev. Fr. Roberto A. Orellana officiating, and interment following in Oxford Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, Wednesday, May 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m..
