Mitchell Reed Wright died Tuesday, March 31 at age 91, after a year’s stay at Benton House in Covington. He passed away peacefully in his sleep. Mr. Wright was the son of the late Dr. William Cosby Wright and Sarah Louise Camp Wright, both long-time residents of Covington. He is survived by cousins, Charles Maxwell of Anthem, AZ, Margie Maxwell Swift of Selma, AL, and Diane Maxwell Richardson of Birmingham, AL.  During World War II, Mitchell participated in the D-Day Invasion. After the war he lived in Paris, France for most of his adult life, where he was a commercial artist. He always maintained his family home in Covington.  A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10 AM at Covington City Cemetery.  J.C.
