   On January 30, 1946 Mr. David Lee Barnes, Jr. was born to Mr. David Barnes, Sr. and Mrs. Gladys Marie Wright in Albany, Georgia. He was the eldest  child.

        He attended High School in Albany, Georgia and later moved to Florida at  the age of eighteen. He started working as a construction worker  for (Cliff Miller Construction Company)  then later (Ronnie Arnold Construction)  and then (Ronnie Gillian Construction) until Retirement. His passion was car repairs "Mechanic".

    He married Shirley Lukes on January 29, 1970.

   His parents preceded him in death, also one sister and one brother, Ms. Patricia Williams and  Mr. Willie Barnes.

    He leaves to cherish his memories , his beautiful wife of fifteen years ; Mrs. Shirley Lukes Barnes, son, Mr. David Lee Barnes, Jr., daughter; Ms. Kathryn Barnes (Glen) Miami Floridas, Ms. Theresa Lukes, Ms. Priscilla Douglas, Gadsen Alabama, Ms. Regina Barnes, Covington Georgia, sisters; Ms. Mattie Longstreet, Newark, New Jersey, Ms. Beverly Jones, Miami Florida, one brother, Mr. James Barnes (Vera) Tampa, Florida, thirty grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, two very close special cousins, Mr. Joe Price and Mr. Willie Barnes, Jr.  a host of  other close cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
