Mr. Robert “Bob” Knox, age 61 of Conyers, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, William Benjamin “Ben” Knox.

He is survived by his sons, Jacob “Jake” Knox, Athens, Aaron Knox, S. Korea; mother, Sybil Knox, Conyers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and C. Wesley Cobb, Mansfield, Cynthia and Walt Barr, Social Circle, Kathy Knox, Ellijay; and former wife, Patricia Knox, Johns Creek. Mr. Knox graduated from Avondale High School and attended Reinhardt College. He was a HVAC technician. Bob enjoyed hiking, camping and was an avid knife collector.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Dr. C. Layne Jenkins officiating; family will receive friends Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
