Charles Williams of Oakwood, Ga., formerly of Covington, passed away Sept. 21, 2013, at the age of 68.
Mr. Williams worked for Lithonia Lighting for 20 years. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed working in his yard and collecting coins. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Marie (Milligan) Williams; parents, B.H. and Mary Ethel (Jones) Williams; and brothers, Billy Williams and Gene Williams.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Jeff Pitts of Flowery Branch, Ga., and Tonya and Chris Zetrouer of Gainesville, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Lisa Williams, also of Gainesville; grandchildren, Christopher Zetrouer, Jennifer Zetrouer, Lauren Pitts, Chase Pitts, Claire Williams, and Jonathan Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington. Interment will follow in Cornish Mountain Cemetery in Oxford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, Sept. 22, from 6-8 p.m.
