Mrs. Angela E. Ward, 47, of Covington, passed away peacefully on Dec. 15 after a battle with cancer. She enjoyed scrapbooking, arts and crafts, tutoring and playing paintball with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. Mrs. Wand was preceded in death by her husband Adam Ward and her parents Robert and Shirley Massey.

Survivors include her cousins Tim and Mattie Kitchens of Covington; Wanda and David Tremonte of Conyers; Tony and Carol Kitchens of Monticello; Donna and Woody Grainger of Covington; uncle Howard and Marie Smallwood of Conway, S.C.; step-son Cameron Lowry Ward of Conyers; in-laws Gail and Jerry Ward of Bluffton, S.C.; brother-in-law Chris Ward of Conyers; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held yesterday, Dec. 18, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in with Pastor David Payne officiating, and interment following in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
