ITHONIA, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a woman was in critical condition after being shot at a MARTA bus stop in the Lithonia area of DeKalb County.

Police say officers were called to the bus stop around 10 a.m. Sunday. They found the woman lying on the bench with a gunshot wound at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority stop on Fairington Road.

WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1xTm16q) that surveillance video shows a man crossing the street and standing next to the woman. In the video, the two appear to speak for about 5 to 6 minutes before a struggle ensues, and the woman is shot. The man appears to take something and run away.

Police say they didn't find any identification on the woman. They estimate her age at 18 to 21.
