MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University has fallen out of the top five on the Princeton Review's annual party school list.

The annual survey released Monday ranks WVU sixth among the nation's party schools. Ohio University is No. 1, followed by the University Georgia, the University of Mississippi, the University of Iowa and the University of California Santa Barbara.

WVU was fourth on last year's list.

WVU spokesman John Bolt tells The Dominion Post (http://bit.ly/r8Ei4o ) that there's an ongoing effort by the university to eliminate its party school image. It now offers an alcohol education class for students.

The Princeton Review survey is part of its 2012 edition of "The Best 376 Colleges," which includes 61 other rankings. WVU ranked 16th for best college library and 12th for the best athletic facilities.
