University spokesman David Arnold says no one has been detained and the campus has been cleared Friday afternoon.
University spokeswoman Tammy DeMel says in an email that officials received a call about a suspicious man on campus with a possible weapon.
Live video from the WSB-TV helicopter showed multiple police walking around campus and barricades blocking some roads.
