ATLANTA - Police are investigating a jawbone discovered by a survey crew in northwest Atlanta.

WSB-TV reports that the jawbone was found along a creek about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office and police are investigating.

Atlanta Police Lt. Paul Guerrucci says the jawbone could have been there for many years and there's no indication of foul play.
