ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia State University officials say they're using a multimillion dollar grant to increase the number of teachers working in high-need schools in rural and urban areas.

Officials say the school has been given a $7.5 million grant from the Department of Education and will partner with Albany State University, Columbus State University and nine county school systems to recruit, train and support between 250 and 300 future science, math, engineering and technology educators.
