FORT BRAGG (AP) - A Fort Bragg paratrooper from Georgia has been found dead in his room in Afghanistan.

The 82nd Airborne Division said 36-year-old Staff Sgt. Keith Rudd of Winder, Ga., did not respond to efforts to revive him after he was discovered in his room in Parvan, Afghanistan, on Saturday. His death is under investigation.

Rudd was a flight medic.

He had deployed to Afghanistan last month for the third time. He also served in Iraq in 2007
