MACON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in central Georgia have identified a man whose decomposed body was found in the Ocmulgee River.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says the body found in the Ocmulgee River on Saturday has been identified as 52-year-old Winston Gamble, of Titusville, Florida.

Jones says Gamble checked himself out of a Macon nursing home in 2014 and was wearing a bracelet that said "Mary Persons Prom 2015" when his body was recovered.

Jones says the man was identified through fingerprint records and foul play isn't suspected in his death.
