Think you might have a hidden treasure in that collection of what other people call junk? The American Pickers, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, of the HBO show on the History Channel, are coming to Georgia looking for junkyards, basements, garages and barns to find hidden treasures, rare artifacts, and vintage collectibles and they want to see what you've got.

Wolfe and Fritz are looking to buy old advertising signs, motorcycles, old toys (tin, wind-up and cast iron), pinball and slot machines, taxidermy, early Boy Scout items, pre-‘60s TV merchandise, musical instruments, Civil War antiques, vintage gas pumps, sports memorabilia, Houdini items, old rodeo items, folk art, early Halloween items, vintage sports collectibles, firefighter collectibles and pre-‘50s western/equestrian gear, etc.

They do not want farming/agriculture items, tools, glassware, appliances, tractors, stoves or country primitives. They will not pick retail shops, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public. They are interested in private collections only.

If you, or someone you know, have what they are looking for and are interested in submitting photos to producers of the show, you can submit your name and telephone number along with pictures by email to: americanpickers@cineflix.com.

If you have photos and are unable to scan and email, please contact Rockdale's Camera Ready Liason Gina Hartsell at gina@conyers--rockdale.com or 770-653-8105 and she will scan and email on your behalf. Anyone who contacts American Pickers is asked to send a copy (CC) to gina@conyers-rockdale.com

American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique ‘picking' on the History Channel. This hit show follows two of the most skilled pickers in the business, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, as they embark on an epic road trip across the U.S. in search of America's most valuable antiques from motorcycles, classic cars and bicycles to one-of-a-kind vintage memorabilia. Hitting the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank earn a living by scouring the country for hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns. The best part of their journey is meeting the unique characters along the way, each with a story to tell about the history of their collection and their own lives.

Mike and Frank bring the past to life and recycle America as they go. They use their determination, expertise and charm to strike the ultimate deals and discover just what it takes to re-sell a newly founded antique in a competitive market.

American Pickers is produced by Cineflix Productions. New episodes air Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET.
