Schools plan public service events

Troy University in Covington and Georgia Career Institute in Conyers will hold public service events in the coming week. On Saturday, June 22, GCI will hold a "Cut-A-Thon" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to promote the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The private charity is not government-affiliated and is supported by private donations.
