Three named to Shorter dean's list

Three Newton County residents were recently announced as dean’s list honorees at Shorter University for the fall semester of 2013.

To achieve this honor, students must have been enrolled full time and have earned at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the term.

Honorees include:

Vernon Kaye Grant, of Covington, Desiree P. Malcome, of Covington and LaTonja D. Threets-Hamp, of Covington.
