South Salem Elementary School student, Michael Webb, his family and Candis Christopher, his teacher, were invited to meet Governor Sunny Perdue in recognition of his participation in the VSA Art Show in Washington D.C. Michael was chosen out of 120 children to represent Georgia in an art show as well as one of 11 nationwide to travel to Washington, D.C. While in Washington he attended a congressional reception at the Rayburn House and met Georgia's senators and congressmen. The invitation to visit our state's capital was an additional honor and privilege.
