Sorority presents books to library system

COVINGTON, Ga. – Members of the Chi Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. donated copies of Alpha Kappa Alpha's Official History Book, "Priceless Pearls - Dimensions of Sisterhood and Service" to the Covington and Porter Memorial Branches of the Newton County Library System Monday afternoon. The book outlines the 110-year history of the sorority that was founded in 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC.
