Newton County Schools are not doing CRCT science testing today, because some students were late to school because of road conditions and power outages related to the high winds, said public relations director Sherri Davis-Viniard.

The science portion of the CRCT will be conducted Friday, she said.

The social studies portion of the CRCT will be taken Thursday as planned.
