Renowned author Sir Salman Rushdie appeared at Oxford College Monday and discussed literature and the arts with Oxford professors. The author also met with students and signed copies of his books. Rushdie is the winner of Britain's Booker Prize, the James Joyce Award and the English-Speaking Union Award, among many other honors. He is a University Distinguished Professor at Emory University, where he teaches, presents public lectures and engages with the academic community.
