Piedmont sees New York

Washington and New York were stops for a group of students from Piedmont Academy earlier in April.

The group visited New York landmarks including the Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Station, Midtown Manhattan, a walking tour of Central Park, the Ground Zero and the Fireman's Memorial and Rockefeller Center. They also took a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and enjoyed a play on Broadway.

In Washington, stops included the White House, the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Memorial, the Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery and Mount Vernon.
