ATLANTA, Ga. - The Piedmont Academy Kindergarten, first and second grades took a class trip to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta last week. The children each made their own puppet, King Moonracer from the Island of Misfit Toys. The children then attended a puppet performance of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” The children learned about the art of puppetry and were shown many different kinds of puppets used in the performance. The children were amazed that all puppets used in the performance were designed and made at the center. A merry time was had by all!
