The Newton County School System is asking parents/guardians of its students to complete an online survey from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The purpose is to find out parents’/guardians’ opinions about their children’s schools.

The Online SACS Parent Survey can be found on the school system’s website, newtoncountyschools.org, through Sept. 27.

School system officials note that taking the survey will help stakeholders understand the AdvancED - SACS Standards for Quality Schools and provide a means for learning about what a parent, student, or staff member should be looking for in a high-quality school system.

Responses on the survey will be completely confidential, and participants are being asked to choose responses that most closely match their opinions.
