OXFORD, Ga. - Oxford College of Emory University kicked off the start of its academic year with its Coke Toast Friday afternoon. The annual event celebrated on both Emory campuses recognizes the school’s longtime relationship with The Coca Cola Company. Oxford College Director of Communications Cathy Wooten said the Oxford campus is welcoming 482 first year students from 21 different countries, 41 states, District of Columbia and two U.S. territories. Wooten said it is the most highly academy credentialed entering class in the college’s history. Classes begin Thursday.
