After narrowing the names from 91 locally-submitted names, the Newton County Board of Education voted to name the new elementary school on Airport Road Flint Hill Elementary.

The vote passed 4-1 with Eddie Johnson voting for Airport Elementary.

The decision was reached Tuesday night at the Board of Election meeting.
