NCSS students take home awards from state science fair

Newton County students fared well at the recent Georgia Science and Engineer Fair as 11 middle and high school students brought home awards. Ten of the student won either third or fourth place honors while one student won a special award for his project.

At the middle school level, Cousins Middle School, Indian Creek Middle School and the Newton County Theme School at Ficquett all had winners in the state fair. Newton High School had two winners and one special award at the high school level.
