Covington businessman Roy Miller was recently named an honorary member of the Berry College chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.

The honorary society is for students enrolled in collegiate business and management programs at schools accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.

Miller, who serves on the Berry College Board of Visitors, is also a member of the Advisory Board for Berry Enterprises and an entrepreneur-in-residence at the Campbell School of Business. He is accessible to students and provides advice and business plan development support.
Business School Dean John Grout said honorary memberships are given to someone who has achieved distinction in business administration and displays the qualities of honor, wisdom and earnestness.

"It should be no surprise then that we have chosen Roy as our very first chapter honoree from the business community," Grout said in a release. "Roy's dedication and support to Berry's entrepreneurship program has made it possible for many of our students to experience entrepreneurship firsthand and continue to pursue their passions beyond graduation. His advice is highly respected and valuable to our students."

Miller, owner and CEO of Miller Property Investments and Monroe Property Investments, earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Berry in 1958.
